Facial Acupuncture Courses
Become qualified and insured in as little as 3 months with this unique Facial & Cosmetic Acupuncture training.

Facial acupuncture is both ancient and timely. Practised for thousands of years, it has proven effective not only for rejuvenating the face, but also for easing stress, supporting emotional balance, and restoring whole-body health. Today, with more people seeking natural alternatives to invasive cosmetic procedures and holistic approaches to wellbeing, the demand for this work is growing rapidly.

Our goal is to equip anyone drawn to this practice with the skills to become fully qualified and insured to work professionally, with confidence and real results. We welcome students from all walks of life — acupuncturists specialising in holistic facial care, counsellors and therapists adding non-verbal tools for emotional release, and cosmetic professionals and beauticians seeking a more natural and integrative approach for their clients.

This popular 2-part workshop is designed to guide both beginners and experienced practitioners step by step into the art and science of facial acupuncture, leading to certification, confidence, and a practice that transforms both client and practitioner.

"Alice really has a deep working knowledge of the subject. She was able to freely teach theory and then give examples of how this could play out in a working situation from her own real life experiences. You can tell she has a huge passion for the subject and that is infectious."
"She was very patient and understanding but also knew when to push you to achieve the very best you could.
I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. She did a great job for us"
- Facial Student E. Crew

What if I have no prior experience with acupuncture?

No prior experience is required. You can prepare in two ways:
-
Before the course: Join a NADA Ear Acupuncture Workshop or Auricular Masterclass to learn safe needling, client handling, and confidence with techniques.
-
Right before training: Attend our 2-hour pre-course workshop, covering health & safety and practical basics, so you feel ready to begin facial needling from Day One.

Who is this course for?
We welcome students from a variety of backgrounds, including:

-
Acupuncturists wanting to specialise in facial care and deepen their practice
-
Beauty therapists and cosmetic professionals seeking a natural, holistic alternative
-
Counsellors, psychotherapists, and holistic therapists adding non-verbal tools for stress release and emotional healing
-
Healthcare workers and beginners with a genuine interest in integrative therapies
Many students describe the training as enriching their own wellbeing as much as their professional skills.

How does facial acupuncture work?
Facial acupuncture uses very fine needles on specific points of the face to stimulate circulation, collagen production, and the flow of qi (energy) through the meridians. Locally, this can improve muscle tone, skin vitality, and healing responses. At the same time, the face reflects the whole body through microsystems and meridian pathways — so working on the face also influences stress levels, emotional balance, and overall internal health. In this way, facial acupuncture supports both surface rejuvenation and deeper holistic wellbeing.
In our training, we explore a wide range of systems — from classical meridian theory to holographic microsystems and Daoist qi-needling. This gives practitioners multiple tools to approach both cosmetic goals and deeper psycho-emotional healing.

Holistic Balancing for Body, Mind & Spirit

As the face is a microsystem representing the whole body, treating areas of the face supports the treatment of areas of the body.
Holographic microsystems within the face are highly effective for emotional release, stress management, facial trauma and effective pain relief.

In Facial Acupuncture Course Parts 1 and 2, we cover different systems of facial acupuncture to support various aspects of health; including musculoskeletal pain, internal organ balancing, mental and emotional wellbeing, as well as treating facial pathologies, such as facial paralysis and Bells Palsy.

How do I qualify and get insurance?
To become certified you must:
-
Complete Parts 1 & 2.
-
Document 10 consecutive treatments with 3 volunteer clients (case studies).
-
Undertake a course of 10 treatments on yourself.
-
Pass a final practical assessment (safety, technique, point location).
Graduates receive a Certificate in Facial & Cosmetic Microsystems Acupuncture, which qualifies you to apply for insurance and practise professionally.

Why train with us?

Our approach to teaching facial acupuncture is rooted in the idea that learning is as much about the practitioner as it is about the techniques. Many students describe the training as a personal journey — a chance to slow down, connect more deeply with themselves, and rediscover the value of gentle, attentive work.

What makes our course truly distinctive is the breadth of systems we teach. You won’t find another college that combines this variety: from classical facial acupuncture frameworks to holographic microsystems, from modern clinical applications to ancient practices such as Daoist qi-needling.
We bring these traditions together in a way that is both mystical and practical - giving students a rich toolkit of approaches while keeping the focus on clear, results-driven outcomes for clients.

You’ll leave not only with professional skills and certification, but also with a deeper connection to the roots of this medicine and a flexible, creative practice that enriches your own wellbeing as much as it transforms your clients.
What makes this course unique?
-
Dual focus: cosmetic rejuvenation and psycho-emotional release
-
Transformative learning: students often find the training shifts their own wellbeing, not just their professional skills
-
Small groups: plenty of one-to-one guidance and peer connection
-
Hands-on approach: needling practice and feedback from Day One
-
Supportive ethos: a community of like-minded practitioners growing together
-
Comprehensive systems: the only college to combine cosmetic, clinical, holographic, and Daoist qi-needling approaches in one training.

"After successfully completing level 1 and 2 of facial acupuncture training with Alice, I am feeling confident in my knowledge to provide outstanding care to my patients and include a new service within my clinic.
I am very grateful to Alice for passing all her extensive knowledge, answering questions upon questions within our group and not gate-keeping any success stories and treatments.
I was very impressed the course did not stop at the cosmetic side of facial acupuncture, but took us through treating a plethora of conditions through facial points as well as delivering cosmetic treatments with outstanding results.
I would highly recommend the course to anyone interested in any acupuncture microsystem."
